Styled by Nicole : H &M Shopping Haul - December 31st
I recently went browsing on H&M's website with the intention of finding a cute shirt dress and of course I ended up buying a few more things (non of which I really needed, but oh well).
The first thing that caught my eye was this over sized Nirvana shirt. I've been wanting something like this for a couple months now, and at $14.95 I thought it was a good deal. I love this type of shirt for lounging around the house. It works great for casual activites like running errands, or days when you're not in the mood for tight fitting clothes (360/365 days a year for me!). I plan on pairing this particular piece with a medium to dark wash skinny jean or boyfriend jeans, ankle boots and gold jewerly accents.

The next item I snagged was what I really intened on buying. This year I'm really into plaid, so why not go for a plaid shirt dress. I love the look and feel of this particular piece. The only concern I had with this dress was the length. It looked a bit shorter in the picture then I would have idealy liked. I wanted the dress to be a little lose and baggy so I ordered a size up which I hoped would help stretch the length. After trying it on it's still a bit short but I figured paired with a thicker pair of tights and some tall boots I could make this dress work. At $29.95 I felt I couldn't say no.
The next item I purchased was something I definatly didn't need but I'm a sucker for comfortable night shirts. I love the lenght and feel of this particular sleep shirt. $12.95 well spent.
The last item I snagged is something that you can never have enough of. I love black blouses. I feel that they are a great staple piece and can be worn a multitude of ways making them a must have in wardrobe. I love the lace accent pieces of this particuler tank. It ended up being a bit longer then I original thought (hitting upper thigh area) but it's a great cut, and when layered with a longer sweater or coat I feel like its a great piece to have hanging in the closet. I paid $24.95 for this top which I thought was a decent price but when checking back today it's on sale for $15 which is a steal. The top also comes in a pretty cream white but sizing is limited, so hurry!!
Thanks for reading! Comments below with thoughts :)
